It is a sneaky sin that quickly becomes a habit. We know it’s wrong but we don’t always realize why. Even if you don’t actually sin with someone, there are consequences to masturbation.
Lack of alignment with God
Isaiah 59: 2
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
Even if we are free and loved by God through the sacrifice of Christ, God still wants us to be obedient.
Night demons
Masturbation can attract night demons. These are spirits who come to sleep with you at night.
It can even sometimes turn into satanic marriages that prevent you to get married in real life. You get deliverance by stopping masturbation, getting prayed for, or simply by fasting, praying and believing.
Perversion
Masturbation is an insatiable thirst that is always looking for the “next high”, the next sensation, the last video. In this research that you might come across certain practices like homosexuality and thus open doors.
Some people watch porn to « learn » more about sex, they tend to look at the body of the person of their own sex even if they do not feel any attraction.
With the Internet we find all kinds of practices which, by dint of seeing them, might appear acceptable and normal to us at some point.
Addiction and soul ties
Sex was created by God, so it’s normal that it feels good. Nonetheless, the Creator intended it to be an special moment to create life and intimacy within a married couple. It is the devil who, as always, has hijacked the chosen one, particularly through masturbation since you give in alone, it doesn’t create anything and you waste your seed (for men).
All addictions are a spiritual bond. Ask yourself : is it MASTURBATION OR MASTERBATION?
Mening do you manage to control yourself or are you controlled by your flesh? You can’t be in control of yourself if you give in to your flesh whenever you have urges.
False sexual expectations in marriage
What the devil wants is for us to start this sin very early in our childhood so that it becomes a habit that doesn’t even bother us anymore. He especially wants you to continue falling into your own marriage.
Singleness is the perfect time to get rid of this sin, but some couples suffer from their partner continuing to practice it in marriage. The partner feels aggrieved, neglected, unappreciated, betrayed, not enough.
Society tells us that it is normal if not impossible for a man not to masturbate, even if he is married. However, many men admit that they no longer desire their wives because they cannot achieve the desires they see in adult films or simply because they are so used to do it by themselves that they don’t even want to do it with a real person (that’s deep).
This leads to arguments, misunderstandings and unfulfilled sexual intercourse.
