We are surrounded by explicit images (films, books, social networks, entourage) and have been told to have sex in every relationship we go into which makes us believe that sexless relationships are abnormal or even impossible. This is how the world will try to discourage you.

I don’t know about you, but I hate to hear that because:
– you are not an object
Any object by definition is something that we can put or even negotiate a price on, transferable and salable. Something that cannot be done with a human being.
– the value of the car depreciates according to trends and years
We usually only test drive used cars. Luxury cars we try them for fun, but you know they’re safe. You will never be able to go over and over to test drive luxury cars without ever buying any, they will put you out. The sellers know that you have to agree to pay the price to walk away with it, the price is non-negotiable. So why try it with women?
Your worth is immeasurable as a child of God!

You will never find somebody practicing abstinence
When I hear that I say to myself: « So God would only have created women who are abstinent but fickle men? »
The Bible says God created the woman from the rib of Adam which means that each pot has its lid, each Adam has his Eve.
There are women and men who follow the Lord and are celibate. Renew your intelligence and do not listen to the lies of the enemy.

Why praticing abstinence instead of having fun?
Abstaining from sex is to love yourself. Everytime you lay down with someone, you give yourself to him. So how many parts of yourself have you left in other people while enjoying life?
Did these relationships get where you really wanted?
How long did you take to heal from these relationships?
Either woman or man it’s impossible to abstain from sex
Yes it is impossible if YOU do not make the decision, if you do not decide to have discipline.
We have urges, but we are not animals, we have self-control.
What if it sucks, what would you do?
When you met him, you didn’t know anything about him; you got to know him, to see what he likes or not, his values … Similarly, why not learn to satisfy each other in marriage instead of putting pressure on each other while waiting for perfection? Why always see the negative and how about thinking otherwise: what if it’s amazing, then what ?
It may happen that the person has a physical condition that prevents them performing, but they should tell you before the wedding and leave the choice to continue the relationship or not.
You’ve made the decision to abstain and to respect God, it’s definitely a leap of faith. God won’t let you hanging. Put your faith into it, it’s also what abstinence is about.

You have to be experienced to satisfy him and also know what you like
Do you really get better by having sex or are you just comparing all your ex partners to one another ?
The private part of women has a shape memory and when you have a lot of relationships, the body prints every passage. When you get married, you might make comparisons and that can lead to false expectations and dissatisfaction.
You’re naive and frigid
Why is society so fond of putting women in one extreme or another: a woman with a lot of relationships is fast one, an abstinent woman is a hypocrite who knows nothing about life. Abstaing from sex is being smart, this sets you apart from the crowd and makes you all the more interesting! You may have had a past and decide to do things differently now.
You have to go with the flow : the Bible is out of date!
The Bible may seem like such an old and disconnected book yet it has never ceased to be modern.
Romans 12: 2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Isn’t it interesting that in speaking of abstinence, the Bible adds not to conform to the present century, even though the Bible was not written during this century? The Bible is therefore always more than up to date. God knows very well that through the centuries it is indeed sexual sin which is the most tenacious, « fashionable » and widespread.
Since it is so normal and trendy to be intimate before marriage just because everyone is doing it, wouldn’t it be interesting to stand out and do things differently?
